Rumah Lenggong, originally a traditional kampung house, had been relocated and adapted for contemporary living. Notably, it featured spaces designed for communal gatherings and barbecues. The property spanned 5 acres of land, adorned with abundant durian trees. Additionally, the site boasted a crystal-clear water stream meandering through the orchard, complemented by a quaint chicken coop.
This architectural exploration provided a unique learning opportunity, allowing us to delve into the fusion of traditional and modern elements. The collaboration of 11 students ensured a thorough examination of spatial relationships and intricate details. The project also offered insights into the harmonious integration of architecture with nature, showcasing the coexistence of functional design and natural beauty.
